Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) is the second movie in the Prequel Trilogy. The story takes place ten years after The Phantom Menace, with the Galactic Republic on the brink of collapse. Anakin Skywalker, now a young Jedi apprentice, develops a forbidden romance with Senator Padmé Amidala. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan discovers the clone army on Kamino, ordered decades ago by Sifo-Dyas. The Battle of Geonosis marks the official beginning of the Clone Wars, the first major confrontation between Jedi and Confederate battle droids. The movie was pioneering as the first filmed entirely in HD digital format with Sony HDW-F900 camera.
