Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) directed by Irvin Kershner is considered by many to be the best movie in the entire Star Wars saga. The story begins three years after the destruction of the first Death Star, with Imperial forces locating the rebel base on Hoth. The epic Battle of Hoth with AT-AT walkers is one of the most memorable sequences. Meanwhile, Luke travels to Dagobah to train with Master Yoda, revealing the dangers of the dark side.
